This award was created by The Queen in 2002 to celebrate the anniversary of the Queen’s coronation, recognising excellence in voluntary activities carried out by groups in the community. It is the MBE for volunteer groups.

Pride Of Britain
Every year the ‘Pride of Britain awards’ recognise a number of important causes and outstanding people for the work they do and contributions they make to those around them on a daily basis.
MLSS were presented with the ‘Pride of Birmingham TSB Community Partner Award’, as well as been shortlisted in the top 10 for ‘The Pride of Britain Awards’ in 2017.
