When coronavirus started spreading in China, very few people would have thought it would become such a huge pandemic and would ever affect everyone’s life. Countless people have been affected because of coronavirus and several people are still suffering both financially and morally. In India there are a huge number of people who are daily wage earners and some have lost their family members due to COVID.
Due to lockdowns people lost jobs too, migrant workers are the most badly hit because of the necessary lockdown. Even the second wave of COVID-19 has hit India very hard, as many of the families lost their family members who were the only earning hands in the families. MLSS has come forward for all those families who were suffering due to the impact of Covid-19 and the financial crisis.
To help those MLSS have done Ration distribution to families in Punjab. Supplying Ration kits to the needy families that include grocery sufficient for a family. By Providing ration to the families throughout Punjab MLSS have helped many families. As a part of it 2000 PPE kits were donated to Governor House. Local shopkeepers took advantage of the situation by hiking prices for hygiene products and other daily needs. MLSS at that time offered free Mandatory medicines, masks, and sanitizers to help the needy people.
Alongside the relief measures, MLSS is likewise making awareness connected with Coronavirus by making people understand the significance of disinfecting and social distancing to safeguard them from getting defenceless and inclined to disease.
